BUSINESS WATER / WORKED EXAMPLE

See Siaski take a billing dispute through to a verified correction.

Not just a response to the customer: a complete sequence of investigation, permitted correction and independent read-back. This working demonstration uses fictional Northgate Water and an isolated staging fixture.

ILLUSTRATIVE RECONSTRUCTION · 00:52
Seven illustrated steps · Text-led, sound-free videoFictional Northgate Water · Isolated staging fixture

This is a visual reconstruction of a controlled synthetic case—not a recording of a live customer, a connected water provider or real-time resolution performance. The 52-second runtime is the length of the video, not the time taken to resolve a real case.

Read the pilot walkthrough
  1. Issue received. A fictional business customer disputes a £1,284.60 estimated water bill.
  2. Records checked. Siaski matches the account, supply point and meter, comparing the 18,440 m³ estimate with the 18,172 m³ actual read.
  3. Permission verified. The £184.72 adjustment is within the fictional £250 autonomous authority limit; identity and policy checks must also pass.
  4. Permitted action recorded. The isolated synthetic billing fixture is updated; no real billing system is contacted.
  5. Outcome read back. The fixture billing and case records are checked independently of the initial action acknowledgement.
  6. Technical outcome verified. Seven required checks pass; the synthetic bill reads £1,099.88. Customer agreement remains a separate consideration.
  7. Guardrails tested. A separate 1,000-case isolated run returned 700 expected verified fixture cases, 200 approval holds and 100 identity holds, with zero unexpected outcomes.

THE RECORDED PATH

Six steps. One accountable outcome.

01

Customer dispute

A fictional business customer challenges an unusually high estimated water bill.

02

Evidence established

The account, supply point and meter are matched. The estimated read of 18,440 m³ is compared with a later actual read of 18,172 m³.

03

Correction calculated

The demonstrated bill is £1,284.60. The evidence supports an illustrative £184.72 correction.

04

Authority enforced

The fixture's autonomous limit is £250. A correction within that limit may proceed; larger or identity-failed cases are held.

05

State read back

The corrected synthetic billing and case records are checked. A success response without final-state evidence would not pass.

06

Verification decision

Seven required checks pass and the fixture record reaches its technically verified state.

Demonstration boundary

No real customer data or real water provider was involved. The bill correction and read-back took place in an isolated synthetic ledger. These numbers are not evidence of a production refund or customer result.

SAFE FAILURE

Responsibility includes knowing when not to act.

Siaski does not mistake a correct calculation for permission to change an account. Where identity, authority or evidence fails, the action is blocked and the reason remains visible.

In the 1,000-case synthetic fixture, 200 approval safeguards and 100 identity safeguards produced their expected held outcomes. No correction was applied in those guarded cases.
